If I have ICBC Claim. work safe Claim, extended health coverage, do i pay for physiotherapy treatment?

If you have ICBC or worksafe injury, you will not pay anything. we will directly bill the insurance company.

For extended health coverage, we will directly bill insurance company (If they allow) and if your coverage is not 100%, you just pay the difference.

Do i need a Doctor's Referal for Physiotherapy Treatment

No referral is required for physiotherapy treatment. However, if you are on an ICBC claim, You may need to get referral if accident is more than 90 days ago. Extended health coverage patients should contact their insurance company to check the details of their extended health benefits as some plans may require a physician's referral in order to get treatment costs reimburse

For how long is treatment session and how many treatments are required ?

Mostly the Initial takes 45-60 Min and subsequent sessions 30-45 min depending upon complexity of illness.

The number of sessions required depends on nature and complexity of illness. After the initial Assessment, Your therapist can dicuss the frequency and number of sessions required in order to treat the signs and symptoms.
